When she first landed in the US, Shandra Woworuntu was excited and hopeful. She had left behind the political turbulence and economic crisis of her native Indonesia to come work in the US. 

On the day she arrived, she was held at gunpoint and forced into prostitution.

Her story is one of bravery, strength, and resilience. In this intimate and insightful conversation with Katie Ford, CEO of Freedom For All, Shandra lays out her journey from international financial analyst to victim of human trafficking to incredible leader in the fight against trafficking in the US.
